ESC is the Ecosystem Support Community, our membership for founders. These terms explain what founding membership includes and how it works.
They sit alongside our terms of use and purchase and our refund and instalment policy. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Hexa Partners & Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (202201046763 / 1492460-M).
1. What you’re buying
ESC founding membership is a lifetime membership. You pay once, or in monthly instalments, and there’s no renewal fee.
What “lifetime” means. It means for as long as we run the ESC community and platform. It doesn’t mean your lifetime, and it doesn’t promise that our company or ESC will exist forever.
If we wind up the company, restructure it or close ESC, we’ll give you at least 60 days’ written notice by email. During that time you can download the toolkits, templates and frameworks you have access to. When the notice ends, our obligations under your membership end, with no refund.
Your membership is personal to you. You can’t transfer, sell, share or sublicense it, your member link or your credits.
Each founding member gets a founding number. We never give the same number to anyone else.
2. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- You must live in Malaysia, and you confirm this at checkout.
- Card payments must use a card issued in Malaysia.
- Your membership is for you. Please don’t share your member link or your access with anyone else.
3. The founding offer
The founding offer is for the first 150 members. It closes when 150 seats are paid, or when Release 2 (the release that opens our own community) launches, whichever comes first. We’ll post a notice on the site and email the waitlist when it closes. Members who join on the founding offer keep their founding membership after it closes.
When you continue to secure payment, we hold a seat for you for 30 minutes.
4. Price and payment
| Price | Pay once (card, FPX or GrabPay) | 3 monthly payments | 6 monthly payments |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard founding membership | RM 3,999 | 3 × RM 1,373 (RM 4,119 in total) | 6 × RM 700 (RM 4,200 in total) |
| Alumni: courses and workshops | RM 2,999 | 3 × RM 1,030 (RM 3,090 in total) | 6 × RM 525 (RM 3,150 in total) |
| Alumni: programmes and bootcamps | RM 1,499 | 3 × RM 515 (RM 1,545 in total) | 6 × RM 263 (RM 1,578 in total) |
- Paying in instalments costs a little more. The extra is an administrative handling and recurring-billing charge of 3% (3 payments) or 5% (6 payments). It isn’t interest, and we aren’t lending you money. Each monthly payment is the price plus that charge, divided by the number of payments and rounded up to the whole ringgit.
- A 12-month plan (12 monthly payments, the price plus an 8% charge of the same kind) is available by request, at our discretion. Email hey@hexa.partners to ask. If we offer it, we send you a private link, and you see the amount of each payment and the total before you pay.
- Instalments are by card only. Your first payment is taken at checkout, then one each month until the last.
- We aren’t registered for SST, so there’s no SST on any price.
- Stripe handles all payments. Stripe’s receipts confirm your payments. If you need a validated e-Invoice for your business, follow the steps in section 6.5 of the terms of use and purchase.
5. Alumni prices
The alumni prices are for people who have taken part in one of our courses, workshops, programmes or bootcamps before:
- RM 2,999 if you’re a former participant in one of our courses or workshops
- RM 1,499 if you’re a former participant in one of our programmes or bootcamps
They’re a recognition of that earlier participation. They aren’t a sale or a time-limited discount.
We confirm you’re a former participant in one of two ways:
- Our alumni lists. If your email is on an alumni list from a past programme, and you agreed to hear from us, we email you your price link.
- Your certificate. If you’re not on a list, you can upload your certificate (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB). You must confirm the certificate is yours. Before you upload, black out your MyKad / NRIC number or passport number. We reject certificates that show these numbers, and we aren’t responsible for identity numbers you leave visible. We aim to review it within 2 working days (Mon–Thu, Malaysia time) and email you our decision.
Once your alumni price is approved, it’s held for you for 7 days. We send one reminder on day 5. After that, the price link expires.
If you qualify for more than one price, you get the lowest one. Prices can’t be combined.
Alumni members are founding members too, and get a founding number. If the founding offer has closed, alumni can join the waitlist like everyone else.
6. What’s included
Now
- Coaching credits: one-to-one sessions with our coaches (section 7)
- Monthly intakes: you choose an onboarding intake and join its onboarding call
- The founders’ group: a WhatsApp group for founding members, until our own community opens (section 9)
- The Founders’ Wall: an optional place on our public wall of founding members (section 10)
- Your member page: your payments, credits, booking link, intake and settings in one place
- Digital materials: the toolkits and templates we have published for members
Planned
These are on our roadmap. They’re plans, not promises, and the membership fee pays for what’s in “Now” above. As each one launches, we’ll give it to founding members at no extra cost:
- every toolkit and course, now and in future (the first open in Release 1, our next product release)
- an AI coach in every lesson, called “Your coach”
- our own member community, which replaces the WhatsApp group
- certificates anyone can verify
We decide what each planned item includes and when it launches. A delay, a change in scope or a dropped item isn’t a breach of these terms and isn’t a reason for a refund.
Not included
Live cohort programmes, Studio services and team seats aren’t part of ESC.
7. Coaching credits
How credits arrive and expire
- First year. You get 12 credits. The first arrives on the day you join. Then one arrives each month on the same date, or on the last day of the month if that month is shorter. Unused credits roll over within your first year and expire at the end of it (the 365th day after you join).
- From your second year. You get 4 credits a year, one a quarter. Each credit must be used within 90 days of the day it arrives, or it expires. Credits can’t be saved up, sold or carried forward.
Using a credit
- Each credit is one 45-minute, one-to-one session with one of our coaches.
- You book from your member page, which opens our booking calendar. The booking form asks for the email you joined with. The booking link shows while you have a credit and your membership is active or your payment is overdue. It’s hidden once your access is paused, or if your membership ends or is refunded.
- After your session, we record it and use 1 credit. We email you to confirm, with the number of credits you have left.
Cancelling, rescheduling and missing a session
- To cancel or reschedule, do it at least 24 hours before the session starts.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or you don’t join within 10 minutes of the start time, the session counts as used and we use 1 credit.
Who your coach is
Coaching sessions are with coaches we assign. Sessions with Syafie Mustafa, our founder, depend on his availability. You can book at most 1 founder session a calendar month (Malaysia time), and unused founder sessions don’t carry over.
Credits and your membership status
- Paused: credits keep arriving, but you can’t use them until your payment comes back.
- Plan ended or refunded: any unused credits are removed.
8. Your member page and link
We don’t use accounts yet. Your member page opens from a private link in your welcome email. Anyone with the link can open your page, so keep it to yourself.
If you lose it, enter your email on the member page and we’ll send a new one. The new link replaces the old one.
Your member page shows your membership status: active, payment overdue, paused, ended or refunded.
9. The founders’ group and community conduct
Until our own community opens, founding members meet in a WhatsApp group. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and Meta’s own terms apply. We aren’t responsible for WhatsApp outages, its data practices or account suspensions.
- The invite link is on your member page while your membership is active or your payment is overdue. It’s hidden once your access is paused, or if your membership ends or is refunded.
- If you’ve already joined the group, you stay in it while your access is paused, until your plan ends.
- We approve each join request. You can give us your phone number on your member page so we can match your request to your membership. This is optional.
Rules. Please be professional and respectful. You must not:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, abusive, discriminatory or threatening (the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 makes some of this an offence)
- send unsolicited sales messages or spam, collect other members’ contact details, or promote competing products
- share other members’ private or business details outside the group
Moderation. We act as moderators. We don’t read every message in advance. We can delete messages, mute you or remove you from the group at any time, without notice and without a refund, if you break these rules or put the community at legal risk.
Between members. We aren’t responsible for what members say or do, or for any deal, loss or dispute between members. Anything you arrange with another member is between the two of you.
If your instalment plan ends or you get a refund, we remove you from the group.
10. The Founders’ Wall
The Founders’ Wall is off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, it shows your first name, the initial of your last name and your city, for example “Aina R. · Kuala Lumpur”. You can turn it off at any time on your member page. We can hide any entry.
11. Using our materials
Our toolkits, courses, templates and other materials are for your own use in your own work and business. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence that you can’t sublicense.
You may not:
- resell, share or give away our materials, in whole or in part
- rebrand them or present them as your own
- use them to build a product, course or library that competes with ours
Some of our materials include content that other people own and license to us. That’s why your licence is for personal use only.
12. Missed instalments
If an instalment fails, you have time to fix it before anything changes. In short:
- Stripe tries the payment again on days 2, 4 and 6.
- On day 7, your access is paused until you pay.
- On day 60, your plan ends and we turn what you’ve paid into store credit.
The refund and instalment policy gives the full timeline, and explains how to stop a plan yourself.
13. Refunds
If ESC isn’t right for you, reply to your welcome email within 14 days. We refund you if you’ve used at most 1 coaching credit and, once courses launch, less than 20% of any course. The refund and instalment policy has the details.
14. When membership ends
Your membership ends if:
- we refund you
- you stop your instalment plan (see the refund and instalment policy)
- your instalment plan ends on day 60 after a missed payment
- we close ESC (section 1)
- we end it for cause (below)
When membership ends, your access, your credits and your place in the founders’ group end too.
Ending your membership for cause
We may end your membership straight away, by emailing you, if you:
- seriously break these terms, our terms of use and purchase or our refund and instalment policy
- copy, share, resell, reverse-engineer or republish our materials, or break section 11
- share your private link or access with someone else
- harass, defame or commit fraud against us, our coaches or other members
- start a payment reversal (chargeback) that isn’t justified. While a chargeback is open, we may suspend your account.
When we end your membership for cause, your access is cancelled and your unused credits are lost. What you’ve paid isn’t refunded. It covers our reasonable administrative costs and the harm caused, as a fair estimate agreed in advance. This doesn’t limit our other legal remedies.
15. Changes to ESC
ESC will grow as we launch new things. We may change how parts of it work, for example how we assign coaches, or moving the founders’ group from WhatsApp to our own community. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects what you get. We won’t take away credits you already have.
If a change materially makes your membership worse, you can end it within the 30 days. We’ll then give you a fair share of the value of your unused credits as store credit. We’ll also email you before any change to these terms that affects you.
16. Advice
Coaching sessions and our materials are general guidance to help you build your business. They aren’t legal, financial, tax or investment advice. You make your own decisions, and we can’t promise a particular result.
