Draft note. This is a first draft for review by our Malaysian lawyer. It isn’t legal advice and isn’t in force yet.
This licence explains what you may do with the toolkits, courses, templates, frameworks and other materials you get from us. It sits alongside our terms of use and purchase and our ESC membership terms. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Hexa Partners & Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (202201046763 / 1492460-M).
1. What this covers
“Our materials” means the toolkits, courses and lessons, templates, worksheets, frameworks, guides, checklists, slides, recordings and downloads we publish or give you, whether you bought them, got them with ESC membership or downloaded them free. It also covers what Your coach shows you from our lessons.
2. Our materials are adapted and curated
Our materials are written, adapted and reviewed by us for our members. We don’t give you access to a library or archive that belongs to someone else. Some of our materials include content that other people own and license to us. That is why your licence is for personal use only.
3. What you may do
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our materials for your own learning and in your own work or business. For example, you may:
- use a template to run your own workshop, pitch or plan
- adapt a worksheet for your own team or organisation
- keep a copy of what you downloaded for your own records
- quote short extracts with credit to Hexa Partners
If you’re a professional using our materials at work, “your own work” includes your employer’s internal use. It doesn’t include teaching or selling our materials to others.
4. What you may not do
You may not:
- resell, share, give away or publish our materials, in whole or in part
- rebrand them or present them as your own
- use them to build, train or improve a product, course, library or AI model that competes with ours
- remove our name, notices or version marks
- share your member link, sign-in or downloads so that someone else can use them
5. Your own work stays yours
What you write, build or submit is yours. You give us only the right to store it and show it to you and, where you ask for it, to the coach you book. We don’t use your submissions to train AI models.
6. Ownership and changes
We, or the people who license content to us, keep all rights in our materials. We may update or retire a material. If we do, we’ll keep the version you were given available to you for as long as your access lasts, unless we must remove it for legal reasons.
7. If you break this licence
We may end your access to the materials you misused. We will tell you why by email and give you a chance to reply first, unless the misuse is serious or ongoing. Ending your access for this reason doesn’t entitle you to a refund. Nothing here limits any right you have under Malaysian consumer law.

Questions for our lawyer
- [For our lawyer] Is a personal-use licence enough for professionals who use our templates in their employer’s internal workshops, or should we say that more plainly?
- [For our lawyer] Is it enough to say that some content is licensed to us by others, without naming them?
- [For our lawyer] Do you agree with letting members keep the version they were given if we retire a material?
- [For our lawyer] Should the “no AI training on competing products” limit in section 4 be worded differently under Malaysian law?
